Full Time: The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be ?32,055 ? ?34,754 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The Radiology and Physics Unit specialises in the development and application of magnetic resonance imaging techniques to children.

The successful applicant will investigate the role of EEG-fMRI, ?resting state? fMRI and electrical source imaging (ESI) in the presurgical assessment of children with epilepsy. In addition to data collection and recruitment the post holder will be expected to be active in performing and developing data analysis procedures.

This post is funded until 31 December 2014 in the first instances.

Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant subject. It is essential for the applicant to have experience of fMRI and knowledge of the techniques and methods required for data acquisition and processing. It is also expected that the applicant will have additional experience either in the study of epilepsy or in the use of simultaneous EEG-fMRI. Candidates must have the ability to efficiently organise their work, communicate effectively and work well in a team, with adults and with children.
