[unable to retrieve full-text content]ContributorNetwork - COMMENTARY | Against the backdrop of the coming of Women's History Month in March -- a national (and worldwide) celebration and recognition of the contributions and accomplishments of women of our nation and throughout world history -- it seems Republicans are going for broke in a relentless and unbridled assault on the progress and well-being of women in America. Of course, Republicans have spent the last several decades (intensified in the last several years in Republican controlled state legislature across the country) trying to overturn, significantly undermine and/or eviscerate arguably the most significant judicial decision of the last half of the twentieth century -- the landmark Supreme Court decision Roe v Wade.
