1) You need to figure out your expertise. I often heard people saying that they have no expertise at all which is simply ridiculous. I have even read a book by a bankrupt businesswoman who teaches people how to avoid failing like her. In fact, being a failure can be something you teach people to avoid.

2) You need to decide on the format of your product. The way you want to deliver your product can be in the form of e book, audio or even video.

3) You have to decide on the information to provide. Once you have decided what information you want to share with people, you should come up with an outline of your product information as this can give you a direction when coming up with the product.

4) Create a purpose statement for every outline. This is very important as it can help you to create a product that can solve the problem of many people. Therefore it is necessary for you to create a purpose statement for you to check if the content provided has served that purpose.

With this in mind, you can start to create your first product. Remember, practice makes perfect.
