Marketplace for Windows Phone gets 22 more stamps in its passport

If you've been holed up in Thailand, waiting to browse the latest and greatest apps for your Windows Phone in your browser instead of on the device directly, then things are looking up. Microsoft has just announced that 22 new countries are being graces with their own web Marketplace. The full list covers Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Croatia, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Israel, Thailand, and Vietnam. The Wanted have just nabbed themselves the lead single on the "Ice Age: Continental Drift" soundtrack. They tweeted that their current track, "Chasing the Sun," was hand-picked for the family-friendly summer release.

"Incredibly excited to have 'Chasing the Sun' be a part of the Ice Age 4 Soundtrack #TheWantedOnIceAge," they announced on Thursday (May 3). "Be sure to see Ice Age 4 on 13th of July #TheWantedOnIceAge."

Shortly after tweeting the news, fans began re-tweeting the hashtag again and again to help spread the message.

The fourth film in the "Ice Age" franchise will hit theaters on July 13 and is already busting with pop-star swag thanks to several key castings. Everyone from Nicki Minaj to Drake to Jennifer Lopez has a part in the animated feature, which also stars Seann William Scott, Josh Peck, Keke Palmer, Peter Dinklage, Aziz Ansari, Heather Morris and others.

This time around, the film's protagonists, Manny (Ray Romano), Diego (Denis Leary) and Sid (John Leguizamo), go off on a new adventure where they meet up with pirates while exploring a new land.

"They knew I liked animation, they knew I liked to do voices, and so they said they were doing that so I thought, 'This is amazing,' " Minaj told MTV News about her role of Steffie in the 3-D movie last year. "The original role that I was up for I didn't get. So I said, 'Oh, OK, whatever.' I was really mad, and the next thing you know, they called me and they said, 'We wrote in a part just for you 'cause we really want you to be a part of this movie.' "

Check out everything we've got on "Ice Age: Continental Drift."

Comcast earnings beat expectations for Q1

ImageLooks like it's time for a little endzone celebration in the City of Brotherly Love this week. Comcast issued its earnings, and things are looking up, marking a 30 percent profit increase for the first quarter. Revenue for the cable company is at $14.9 billion, beating out analyst estimates of $14.4 billion. The company did continue to shed video customers however, dropping around 37,000, although it did experience more customers adding on internet and phone service. The Associated Press chalks the happy results up to Super Bowl advertising and the popularity of the company's broadband offerings.
